Skiplukkern is a speciality store with complete focus on Nordic skis year round. We were founded by the ‘Skiplukkern’ himself - Aslak Berglund - in 2020. We are located in Røykenveien 70 in Asker, Norway. Skiplukkern has quickly developed to a leading commercial competence centre with Nordic racing skis. Our goal is to let everyone be able to experience the great joy of skiing, through specializing on picking, categorizing, grinding and rilling of Nordic skis.

Aslak
Aslak Berglund is the founder and the owner of Skiplukkern. He is also the daily leader of operations. Aslak may be the person who picked the most skis in the world. Over the past 15 years, he has evaluated over 3000 pairs of skis per year. He has had the privilege of working with many best skiers in the world and the skis he picks are regularly tested by skiers at the highest level. Aslak has also tasted a lot of coffee over the years and you will not find him too far from an Italian espresso machine.
Even Kristoffersen has his background as a skier at a high national level. He has his special competence from his job as a waxer and tester at Team Telemark - Norway’s top private Nordic team, and he never quits before the job is done.

Esten
Esten Nicolai Wøien is the research leader for our three yearlong project financed by The Research Council of Norway. His background is in physics and mathematics from the NTNU - Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He is perfecting our understanding of a good ski.
Svein
Svein Odland is the last addition to Skiplukkern so far. He was a solid skier and was involved as a ski tech for the Norwegian junior national biathlon team. Svein is also finishing his education in nursing.
